the reason you dont have PMF is cuz your customer profile isn't specific enough. I don't care how specific you think it is, e.g. if you tell me your targeting "small business owners who need a better website" congrats, you're now competing with Wix, Lovable and Claude Code for that person. you lose. now make it 100x more specific like this: "med spa owners in Texas with 2-25 locations, already running Google Ads, but sending that traffic to a slow WordPress site they threw together before 2022" look at what you can suddenly promise: 1/ "one click and I migrate you off WordPress" 2/ "I already built the integrations for the exact booking + POS software every med spa runs" 3/ "I've already driven results for med spas down the road from you" every one of those is a promise the big players physically can't make because they're built for everyone thats ur biggest advantage when starting out When I started I wrote 8 paragraphs on my customer and ended up re-writing it ~20 times

I keep reading AI will take jobs. But I talked to people at @LaraconUS. Those whose business got hit, told AI wasn't the reason. Economy is bad. Not AI. In fact, some agencies told they got MORE clients who come to them with prototypes built by AI or with Lovable.

Swedish engineer who created the popular open-source GPT Engineer project in 2023, the precursor to Lovable. He studied engineering physics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, worked on the ATLAS experiment at CERN, was an early engineer at Sana Labs, and co-founded and was CTO of Depict.ai before starting Lovable, where he is CEO.
