Co-founded Tanium with his father in 2007 and served as CEO from 2016 to 2023, when he moved to Executive Chairman and Dan Streetman became CEO. A UC Berkeley dropout, he previously helped build BigFix, which the pair sold to IBM in 2010. A Forbes billionaire and Giving Pledge signatory, he leads Tanium's product and technology strategy.
David Hindawi
Co-founder & Chairman Emeritus
Iraqi-born, Israel-raised entrepreneur with a Ph.D. in operations research from UC Berkeley who co-founded Tanium in 2007 with his son Orion and was its first CEO through 2016. He earlier founded BigFix, an endpoint patching company sold to IBM for about $400 million in 2010. A Forbes billionaire, he now serves as Tanium's Chairman Emeritus.
