A Ghanaian story. 1. Government contracts Zipline for the delivery of emergency items. 2. Government knows that every delivery on zipline costs Ghana, like the price of one Peugeot. 3. Yet Government puts in place no measures; protocols Or sanctions that will prevent people from abusing what is in essence a last resort, emergency mechanism. As expensive as the consequences would be. 4. Naturally, people have used Zipline to send fingernails, chamber pot and condoms. 5. Now, the Government has come out to complain to us, that 90% of the things sent via zipline could have been bought at the local market. And Government has incurred ridiculous levels of financial costs. 6. Me that Government has come to tell me this, what should I do? 7. Clap for Government? Or what? 8. As you are telling me to, you are not telling me how you intend to hold people accountable. Oman waɛ ankasa no….
