Where did the Russian missiles hit in Kyiv last night? At least two points of assembly and storage for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Kyiv were targeted. The first was the industrial site of "Smart Intelligence Systems," where the enemy produced strike and reconnaissance drones, as well as key components for them: bodies, electronics for long- and medium-range drones, navigation systems, optics, and batteries. The second location was an assembly and storage facility in the southwestern part of Kyiv, operated with the involvement of the Ukrainian-American company Terminal Autonomy (formerly One Way Aerospace). According to the Ministry of Defense, up to a thousand drones of three types were produced at this facility each month: the AQ-400 Scythe strike drones with a range of 750 km (up to 900 km with a lighter payload), the short-range barrage AQ-100 Bayonet drones with a range of up to 150 km (the German company Helsing supplies the components and software for licensed assembly under the HF-1 index), and the reconnaissance RQ-100 Scout drones – small tactical drones with a ×30 thermal imager, with a range of up to 50 km, used on the front lines in conjunction with strike drones. The second phase of the attack targeted the Odesa region, specifically the port of "Chornomorsk" (formerly Ilyichivsk, renamed in 2016 as part of decommunization). Located in the suburbs of Odesa, at the mouth of the Sukhy Lyman estuary, the port now serves as a grain hub, processing up to 90 percent of agricultural products, as well as a petroleum product terminal. Storage tanks containing fuel and lubricants, intended, according to the Ministry of Defense, to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces, were hit. @sashakots

❗️ArmyTV released an episode on the combat use of the German kamikaze drone HX-2 from Helsing. The approximately 12 kg aircraft carries a 2.5 kg warhead and is designed to strike armored vehicles, artillery, and fortified positions. Four electric motors enable speeds up to 220 km/h and a range of 100 km, combining vertical takeoff, high maneuverability, and rapid attack capability. A terminal guidance system reduces reliance on a stable communication link in the final flight phase.
